![]() Kind of a toss-up, but I'm actually now getting a bit further along in both due to the VCVrack platform and the links turned me on to.Ĭurious, this forum isn't likely the place to discuss the VCVrack stuff, but is there another forum anyone recommends that's more specifically about VCVrack stuff? I like the forums for a lot of stuff, and see VCVrack mentioned there some as well, but is there one good forum that's devoted entirely to VCVrack discussion? Some things I like better than Audulus 3 and some things in Audulus 3 are better. Glad I got zMors Modular, but I'm not that wild about the interface. Oh wow! I missed this patches collection. Yes!!! Thanks again learn most from deconstructing others peoples' wonderful patches at the moment: I'm more of a visual learner and this is going to be perfect for me. I'm thinking after I figure some of this stuff out from the VCVrack interface, the iOS modular apps will start making more sense too. And, an enviroment with visual representation of what the real stuff looks like. a way to play and learn about this stuff without having to spend the money before I know what I'm doing. This is perfect for what I've been looking for in the last few weeks or so. I am enjoying following this thread and am learning a lot, as well as being exposed to the VCVrack, which is all new info to me. But if you could be so kind just to tell me the very basic, primal beginnings of what you add to first generate signal, and what you add to hear that signal. I know how to add the plugins to the rack and how to patch one to another. Installed a 3rd party plugin from the list you gave me, and just installed the Vult pack. I've installed the latest rack, created an account, installed the plugins it comes with. We should likely go private message with this I'm guessing, since this is getting really off topic now. i actually helped him make his oscillator by feeding him samples from my 0-coast the end result is nothing like my physical synth but its a monster in its own right his oscillators and filters are fantastic. I highly recommend some of the free modules. That’s exactly what I was really looking for. It doesn’t seem to like loading IAAs much, slows to a crawl and can’t even scroll, but it handles AUs just fine. I did also buy zMors Mod and am liking the interface better already. So, it’ll be a great entry into that realm without having to drop any cash until I learn more.Īlready set up an account and loaded a few modules to patch, but haven’t generated anything yet. And there are tons of videos about how to set up and patch hardware. I’m completely lost at the moment, and no where near as knowledgeable as but the visual interface looks 1-to-1 the same as the hardware versions. ![]() Yes, VCVrack was a great suggestion for me. It’s incredibly well thought out and probably worth more than the regular price tag. VCV rack is incredible and probably the best gateway to modular.Īs far as zMors goes, I think it’s more engaging and. Myself I've actually routed it into ableton to basically turn it in a modular monster. There's hundreds of videos out at this point with songs people are creating using only it. It actually stopped me from buying more synths during Black Friday. People are converting tons of actual hardware modules and the current count is at 140+. It's opensource and at the excellent price of FREE. If you're willing to look past iOS only, Go grab the excellent VCVrack.
